A Detailed Look At The TNA vs. ECW Ratings Race

Half-way through 2009 with 26 weeks of pro wrestling TV in the record books, ECW on Sci-Fi owns a slim margin in TV ratings over TNA Impact, but TNA Impact owns a slim margin over ECW in actual TV viewership. TNA president Dixie Carter said earlier this week that TNA Impact passed ECW's TV ratings. While ECW owned the first quarter of the year, her statement is correct if looking at the average viewership for the entire year. The following is a progression of how TNA closed the gap to surpass ECW TV in weekly viewership.
