This week's show is available to listen to right now and boy did it pack
a punch!
First, Kizanny calls in from backstage at a Jim Rose circus where he and
Jake "The Snake" Roberts are performing! This former WWE/TNA superstar proves
to be one of our most off the wall guests in quite some time and that is
a good thing!
Then, Candice Michelle gives her absolute first post-WWE radio interview
right here on The Interactive Interview! This interview really cooks at 40
minutes and a whole lot of hot topics discussed including a story about Torrie
Wilson trying to put her finger in Candice's butt! Oh yes, this one cooks!
Then, as if that weren't enough, we discuss the greatness of SmackDown!,
the troubles of RAW, and TNA's positives and negatives.
KIZANNY
- The interview begins with Kizarney talking about the show he is doing
now for Jim Rose's Circus in Sacremento, CA. He says that the show is absolutely
insane with every crazy thing you can possibly think of. He got together
with Jim Rose & Jake "The Snake" Roberts to put to something crazy together.
In the WWE, he says that he was plagued with having to make it all PG, so
this show was an outlet for him to spread his wings. He says the show has
naked fat girls, midgets with axes, and guys with fishhooks chained to
cinderblocks in his eye sockets, and Kizarney himself has dollar bills stapled
to his head and all kinds of wild things.
- He says that he's always liked to be innovating and unique in anything
he ever does. Before getting into wrestling, he was an artist, so this show
is a perfect way for him to show off his creativity.
- His high tolerance for pain came from his experience working for "Carnival
Diablo" in which he did wild things like being electrocuted. His work in
shows like this led credibility ot the Kizarney gimmick.
- When asked why the Kizarney character didn't last long in the WWE, in addition
to always being told to be more PG, he also says that Vince McMahon saw the
character as a face, but everybody else, including himself, all saw the character
as a monster heel, and that creative conflict led to a lack of direction.
- He is then asked about his run in TNA where he teamed up with Slash as
part of The New Church. Originally, his debut was him, Devon Storm, &
Gangrel vs. the debuting 3 Live Kru. They then asked him to stand in as Brian
Lee's replacement in The New Church. He says that he's still close friends
with Jim Mitchell & Slash.
- The Jim Rose's show is completely meant for adults. He makes no apologies
for the show and says that kids should not be allowed to watch it. He says
that it would make somebody like Abdullah the Butcher go "Holy Crap" When
talking about working with Jake Roberts, he loves working with him and is
starting to get himself back into shape. He also credits Jake Roberts DDT'ing
Ricky Steamboat on concrete as the moment that made him decide to get into
wrestling.
- In a seque to Ricky Steamboat, Kizarney says that Ricky was an agent when
he debuted with the character and he was honored that Ricky enjoyed the gimmick
so much. He also puts over many of the legends there like Undertaker, Arn
Anderson, Dean Malenko, & various others as being great to work with.
- He says that he'd be happy to go back to TNA and bring back the New Church.
But he would also like to get involved in future movie projects. He likes
to entertain and really likes to be scary, so any medium that allows him
to do that would be great for him.
Word Associations:
Slash: "As evil as he is, one of the nicest human beings I've met in the
wrestling business"
Traci Brooks: "Great boobs...talented female wrestler"
James Mitchell: "The last, brand new, old school wrestling manager" and then
goes onto say that managers are a lost art in wrestling.
Vince McMahon: "Genius...billionaire that can afford to make million dollar
mistakes" and then reinterates the disagreement over his character direction.
He says if Kizarney would have been a face, he would have had to start out
as a heel first and have the fans get used to him.
- When comparing Kizarney to Doink the Clown, he agrees that as a heel it
works but loses its charm as a face. He also mentions that PG element again
and that with a character like his, you really need to go all out with the
character.
- Once again talking about his TNA run, Kizarney says that ever since he
did The New Church, there hasn't been a single show he's done since where
fans haven't asked him about The New Church and in some areas the fans would
even chant it at him.
