WSU 10/10 Results From Bergenfield, NJ: Angel Orsini & Mercedes Martinez Tear It Up Again, Missy Hyatt Shoots on Gino Moore of the NWS, A Controversial Promo by Rick Cataldo Directed at Tammy Sytch, WSU's Decision on The Promo & More From One Crazy Night WSU 10/10 Quick Results from Bergenfield, NJ Soul Sister Jana d. The debuting Miss April w/Gorgeous George Missy Hyatt hosted a live edition of Missy's Manor where she called out NWS Commissioner Gino Moore for claiming that he had sex with her. This is a MUST-SEE on DVD. Gino said he never claimed it and said that it was someone else on the WSU roster spreading that story. It didn't seem Missy believed Gino. If you like "REAL LIVE" stuff, this is for you. After taking Gino to task, Missy introduced her friend, the lovely Little Jeanne. Jeanne told the crowd what she's been up to and where she's been for the last few years. The long time veteran was interrupted by the brash & annoying Roxxie Cotton. After a war of words, a match was made. Little Jeanne d. Roxxie Cotton Melissa Coates & Trixxie Lynn w/Tammy Sytch d. Annie Social & Rick Cataldo w/Sean Hanson & Roxxie Cotton A late-arriving (literally walking through the door and to the ring) Rick Cataldo cut a disgusting promo on Tammy Sytch which has led WSU to make the decision to cut it off the DVD. However, the after-effects of Cataldo's words will not be cut off the DVD as you will see Sunny give Cataldo a few shots. WSU does not want to make money on an incident that we do not approve of, but we do not want to cut the match out for fans of the wrestlers in this match. However, while we are taking out some of Cataldo's words from this DVD, we hope you understand the situation. You will see some agitated (and rightfully so) wrestlers in this match & we want our DVD customers to be forewarned. Reyna Fire d. Roxxie Cotton via DQ when Angel Orsini ran out and destroyed Reyna. This was a brutal & vicious attack, that left Reyna injured and unable to compete for the next two weeks. WSU Champion Angel Orsini vs Mercedes Martinez went to a 20-minute draw After 15 minutes of kick ass action, the match was ruled a draw. However, NWS commissioner Gino Moore ruled that the match would go 5 extra minutes due to the fans chanting for 5 more minutes and it was his responsibility to please the fans. However, after another 5 minutes, we were still left at a stalemate. Due to a 11PM building curfew, the match was ruled a draw. Little Jeanne & Lea Morrison Missy Sampson explained to the crowd that while she wanted revenge on Kylie Pierce & Kacee Carlisle, Kacee Carlisle had a family emergency and couldn't make the event. WSU wishes the best to Kacee during her difficult time. With that said, Amy & Missy said they did not want a bye and challenged any two wrestlers in the back. After defeating the fan favorites of Lea Morrison & Little Jeanne, Amy proclaimed a new era of WSU where while WSU may be uncensored, disrespect for the promotion will not be tolerated. At that point, Amy said if you don't have "tits or a clit" you're not allowed in the ring and promptly said means goodbye Rick Cataldo. Upon hearing this news, Commentator Sean Hanson has filed a grievance & there are rumblings he may start a petition to bring his boyfriend back into the company. WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round One Malia Hosaka & Miss April d. The Soul Sisters (Jana & Latasha) The newcomers to WSU, 21 year veteran Malia Hosaka & rookie Miss April really impressed as a duo. The Soul Sisters continued to show signs of a shaky relationship, losing a tournament many thought they would win. WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round One The Beatdown Betties (Roxxie Cotton & Annie Social) d. Melissa Coates & Trixxie Lynn In an upset, the Betties picked up a win, with Annie Social winning her first ever match in WSU! This is something that has to be seen on DVD to be believed. WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round One Mercedes Martinez & Angel Orsini d. Bobcat & Gorgeous George In what many are calling one of the most shocking moments in WSU history, Angel Orsini teamed up with Mercedes Martinez. Martinez called out Orsini and talked about how Orsini has been ducking and getting lucky in matches with her. Martinez talked about how Orsini laid out Martinez's partner Reyna Fire last night. Martinez said she didn't care who Orsini's partner would be & said she'd fight in a handicapped match against Orsini & her mystery partner. When pressed Orsini finally let the cat out of the bag and announced Martinez as her partner. Orsini said her best chance to win the tournament was with Martinez which is why she had been attacking Fire. With Fire hospitalized, Martinez had no choice but to come out alone, leaving her to tag with Orsini. Orsini then said with Martinez teaming with her, it means Martinez couldn't go after her in the tournament matches. However during the match against Bobcat & George, Martinez had the match seemingly won. LITTLE JEANNE ran out and attacked Martinez, allowing Angel & Jeanne to win the match. Both Jeanne & Orsini attacked Martinez after the match proclaiming this was part of their master plan. In a separate promo on the DVD release it was explained that Jeanne & Orsini used to team before and have been friends for 15 years and they suckered Martinez into their plan. They eliminated Martinez from the tournament and outsmarted Martinez. You'll want to see this on the DVD, as Angel has not only shown off her brawn in WSU, but her brains. In a live Missy Manor segment, Missy introduced former WWE Womens Champion Molly Holly. Holly greeted the crowd and said she was happy to be here tonight. Molly said she's been checking out the WSU DVDs and one wrestler caught her eye. Molly introduced Cindy Rogers. The injured Cindy Rogers came out to talk to the crowd. Rogers explained her injury and how long it will take her to recover. Rogers then said that back a few months ago, she earned the right to be named #1 contender to the WSU Championship. Rogers said she earned that match due to her series of matches with Alexa Thatcher. Rogers said that Thatcher received many one on one shots, but all Rogers got was a triple threat match with Alexa and then-champ Nikki Roxx. Rogers said she wants it to be known that once she gets back she's challenging for the gold no matter who the champion is. This was a very intense part of the show from someone who usually does her talking in the ring. WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round Two The Beatdown Betties (Roxxie Cotton & Annie Social) d. Malia Hosaka & Miss April WSU Tag Team Tournament Match Round Two Amy Lee & Missy Sampson d. WSU Champion Angel Orsini & Little Jeanne This was one of the better tag matches in WSU history, with all four wrestlers brawling all over the building. Eventually Mercedes Martinez ran out, distracting Orsini, allowing Amy to pin Orsini to advance in the tournament. As a result of this pinfall, WSU has announced a special WSU championship match on the 10/18 JAPW event between Lee & Orsini. This was one hell of a main event to wrap up the first taping of the Tag Team Title Tournament show. Commentary for this DVD was done by Missy Hyatt, Sean Hanson & Steve "Monsta" Mack. April said she had much respect for Malia and was honored to be her partner in the tournament. However April felt that she let Malia down by losing. April asked Malia to the ring. Malia came to the ring where April explained that she was sorry for losing. However, April said she loved watching Malia on TV & always respected her. She said it would be a dream to wrestle Malia and asked her for a match. Malia was taken aback but accepted the match. Malia Hosaka d. Miss April This was one hell of an encounter, as the rookie Miss April really held her own in this match. The product of the ACE Wrestling school really shone like a diamond in the rough during this event, as she pushed Malia to the limit. Malia defeated April, among controversy, as she rolled through a pin attempt by April to put April down. Rematch anyone? Battle Royal Winner Gets A Shot at the WSU Champion In The Main Event Bobcat lastly eliminated Mercedes Martinez to earn the right to fight for the WSU Championship in the main event. ENTRANTS: Jana, Latasha, Bobcat, Martinez, Gorgeous George, Trixxie Lynn, Little Jeanne, Melissa Coates This was an exciting battle royal, which saw Martinez and Jeanne duke it out. It seems a new feud is brewing between these two, as the allegiances and battle lines have been made. Martinez was the star of this battle royal, eliminating Jeanne towards the end. However, Angel Orsini ran out and cost Martinez the match, leaving Bobcat the winner. Orsini made it clear that she wants no part of Mercedes Martinez in WSU anymore and does not want her title run in jeopardy by being placed in a match with Martinez. While all this was going on, Molly Holly came out. Molly said she sees how WSU operates and that this is not the Angel Orsini show. To ensure that Orsini's shenanigans would be prevented, Molly named herself special referee for the main event, as approved by WSU commissioner Dawn Marie! WSU Tag Tournament Round 3 FINALS Beatdown Betties (Annie Social & Roxxie Cotton) d. Amy Lee & Missy Sampson w/Alere Little Feather to become the first ever WSU TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS This was an insane match and easily the WSU upset of the year, as the Beatdown Betties did the unthinkable- WIN! Not only once, but three matches and defeating what many thought were the odds-on-favorite in this tournament, Amy Lee & Missy Sampson. The Betties better enjoy their championship for now, because Amy & Missy have been named the number 1 contenders! WSU Championship Match Special Ref Molly Holly (c) Angel Orsini d. Bobcat w/Gorgeous George This was another wild match, where Orsini proved her dominance as WSU champion. After the match, Mercedes Martinez came out and confronted Angel Orsini. Martinez beat the HOLY FN HELL out of Orsini, nailing her with the WSU title and DDTing her on a steel chair! Martinez then set-up a table and BRAINBUSTERED ORISNI THROUGH THE TABLE in one of the sickest displays of violence we've ever seen in WSU. Martinez then made one of the biggest announcements in WSU history! Martinez , while standing out over a knocked out cold Orsini, said on 1/10, Martinez vs Orsini IV would happen, but this time, in a STEEL CAGE MATCH! WSU has approved the match, as WSU felt that Orsini/Martinez were all over the double DVD taping, interfering and attacking each other and the only way to settle this and to prevent interference, people running away & blind sided attacks is to go with Martinez's idea and put them in the cage! Martinez and Orsini delivered again as this is MUST-SEE material. In a few news items, it was announced that AWESOME KONG returns to WSU on 1/10. One match has been confirmed, as in a WSU Title Match (if Orsini should still remain champion by then) Angel Orsini defends against Mercedes Martinez in a STEEL CAGE. The house lights went out at intermission as a new wrestler announced that she will debut with WSU on 1/10. WSU has received several creepy phone calls from this wrestler promising that WSU will never be the same again after 1/10. Former WSU Champion, Alicia, was at the show, as she was on break from school. Alicia still has no plans on coming back, but there are rumors that her mother may finally come back and enjoy WSU events!
