NEWS Alex Koslov told Super Luchas in their latest issue that jumping to AAA was the toughest decision he has had to make in his young career but felt like it was the right thing to do at the time. Koslov said that he thought he had reached his apex in EMLL as they had started phasing him down (which is interesting considering his last match in an EMLL ring was against Atlantis for the NWA Lt. Heavyweight Title.) Alex said that he thought about returning to the United States but thinks that working with AAA will mean more work for him in Mexico and will give him the chance to get more exposure. Alex thanked Paco Alonso for giving him such a big opportunity to shine in EMLL and that Paco probably doesn’t care for him right now but it was something he had to do. Rocky Romero also gave an interview with Super Luchas saying that EMLL basically gave up on him due to his gimmick as Grey Shadow not getting over with the fans like they thought it would’ve since it was a clone of Mistico. Romero said that once the character flopped they basically blamed him for it and decided to just string him along for as long as it took for him to leave. Romero is very happy to be in AAA right now as a member of D-MEX and thinks this is the best move for his career. RESULTS EMLL 10/12 – Arena Coliseo 1. Molotov & Trueno beat Inquisidor & Semental 2.
