Is "The Franchise" Shane Douglas in Jail?

Thanks to Barrelofagun69 from the Forums. This is entirely his post: "This comes from a newspaper out in Western PA, where the Franchise was born, raised, and still lives: " A North Sewickley Township man has been indicted by a grand jury with illegal drug possession. According to a news release from the U.S. attorney’s office in Pittsburgh, Troy A. Martin, 44, of 3470 River Road, Apartment 1, illegally obtained pain pills from four Beaver County pharmacies in 2004 and 2005." (SOURCE: http://www.timesonline.com/articles/200 ... 263931.txt) It's a typical police blurb, so the source cited doesn't go any further than the text quoted above, so I'm not sure if this is the real deal or just a coincidence. Of course, Shane's past addiction to pain-killers certainly lends this story some credence, although I'm still unclear as to how anyone, let alone Shane Douglas, could be indicted for pharmaceutical fraud four years after the fact. Don't they have a statute of limitations on that stuff? Anyway, there's a couple of reasons why this could be a coincidence. 1) Douglas' real name is Troy Shane Martin, not "Troy A.". 2) Douglas is 43, and won't be 44 for another couple of weeks. 3) Last I heard, he was married with children and living in a house, not an apartment. 4) Even if this was true, and despite the fact that Shane has been out of the limelight for some time, you'd figure this would make SOME minor headline somewhere in the general Pitt area. I mean, hell. Remember that girl from Diff'rent Strokes who fell out of the limelight then crashed back in when she tried to rob a video store? That got major headlines. 5) If this is true, perhaps no journalist picked up on the story since "Shane Douglas" sounds normal and undistinctive enough to where people would believe it to be the ex-wrestler's birth name; thus, a story about "Troy Martin" getting arrested would go unnoticed since at first glance it suggests an entirely different person. But last I heard, Douglas always legally retained his birth name and only used "Shane Douglas" as a stage name, and has always reverted back to Troy Martin when working in other fields outside the business. Here's hoping this is all just a big million-dollar coincidence, and that it's some other Pitt guy with the same name and who's of the same age as Douglas, and that the real Shane is doing fine." That said, we have heard insider information that SHane Douglas did attend rehab for perscription drug abuse a few years ago.
