Attendance is considered very bad right now for CMLL as the October 17th Arena Mexico show only drew 5,000 fans. The main event was Marco Corleone defeating Lizmark Jr., which was the blow off to a long running feud. - The Tuesday night TV tapings on the 14th were down to 1,000 and the show on the 19th drew only 1,500. The show on the 19th featured a CMLL Light Heavyweight Title match with Rey Bucanero retaining the title over Hector Garza. - Vampiro's latest injury is considered very serious, and may be an aggravation of his injury from many years back in WCW (when Mike Awesome dropped him on his head) that nearly ended his career. The tests he has been given showed his brain is slow in general reactions and that he has problems with his neck. Doctors have told him that he needs to retire, but Vampiro is going to wait a few weeks before making a final decision. - The wrestler who was known as Black Abyss has taken over the Abismo Negro outfit and gimmick full time. The original "Abismo Negro" was fired after he was no showing events as well as having drug issues. - Halloween and the Original Abismo Negro are both currently in rehab.
