Paul Heyman threatens to return to wrestling

In his latest article for the UK Sun, Paul Heyman writes about how he would "freshen up" World Wrestling Entertainment, penning that the company doesn't know how to tap into current trends and doesn't currently build up strong characters, something that both Vince McMahon and his father always had a strong talent for. Heyman notes in the article that one WWE Creative employee recently told him he was pitching Sean "P. Diddy" Combs for Wrestlemania, to which Heyman responds with another idea that he feels would tap better into the local Houston and Hispanic markets. Heyman closes with a few lines that will undoubtedly be seen by some as Heyman threatening to return to the business and by others by Heyman jockeying for a job: My advice to the creative decision makers is to wake up, realise your programming is not artistically cutting edge any more, and inject a youthful mindset to compliment your unparalleled and amazing ability to provide multiple hours of content to the networks on a weekly basis. Re-position wrestling/sports entertainment as the coolest, video-game-come-to-life product with the wildest, most clearly defined and enviable characters on television anywhere in the world today.
