by Cedric Register ECW Report Awaiting "Survivor Series," the rough and rugged ECW made its way to the city of Atlanta,Georgia opening up the show with the arrogant Miz and John Morrison. The self proclamed"single greatest tag team of the twenty first century" received a minimal amount of southen hospitality from the crowd, hyping themselves up, while talking about there Survival Series Elimination Tag Team match with opponents Rey Mysterio, Great Kahli , Cryme Tyme, and the legendary Shawn Michaels. The egotistical duo launched a number of insults at there opponents, calling the Great Kahli a"Punjabi Playboy" and noting his love for voluptuous women. Miz and Morrison continued on in typical fashion, waging a war with Michaels, daring the legend to be the last man standing during there match at "Survior Series." Making his ECW debut and being accompanied by the absolutely stunning Alicia Fox, Dj Gabriel came out dancing in all his glory. The ECW star is part of Theodore Longs new superstar initiative. DJ Gabriel made an impressive debut, not even breaking a sweat, making quick work of his european opponent, finishing him off with a European uppercut. Now thats irony! The two time all American from Oklahoma University, or as he prefers to be called "The All American-American," Jack Swagger, won ECW's first Amateur Wrestling Challenge by disqualification after an infuriated Tommy Dreamer, displayed sudden fits of rage, kicking Swagger in the ribs while he was down in the defensive position only to be preceeded by a devastating DDT. The All American American" defeated the ECW original for the second time in his career. After commercial break, Jack Swagger, still feeling the effects of Dreamers kick, made his way back stage and demanded to anyone that would listen, including Longs assistant, that he speak with the General Manager. After finding Theodore Long the GM agreed to give Swagger a rematch, but it wasn't without controversy. He reminded Swagger that The ECW original played in his backyard (referring to Swaggers Amateur Wrestling Challenge) and that he would indeed get a rematch with Dreamer, shocking The All American with a Extreme Rules Match proposal instead. After the break, former high school math teacher and ECW original Matt Stryker entered the ring with his trusted chalkboard and chalk at hand. He explained to the Georgia crowd that Batista could potentially have to beat up to four opponenets in The Elimination tag team Match before he could face "The Legend Killer," Randy Orton, in one of the most anticipated tag team matches of the year. Before Striker could conclude his teaching, former ECW champion, and self proclaimed "worlds strongest man" Mark Henry entered the ring with WWE hall of famer and mentor Tony Atlas, making his presence known throughout the arena. The last match of the night ended with the "silver back" Mark Henry catching the charismatic Tag Team champion Kofi Kingston off the ropes in midair, delivering him a devastating "worlds strongest slam," that seemed to shake the arena and state of Georgia.
