Reports From Vince's Walk of Fame Induction

It was a big day for Vince McMahon as the Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a ceremony this morning which started at 11:30AM PST. McMahon was among other 17 individuals who were nominated for 2008 and he was placed in the Television category. The star - the 2,357th on the Walk of Fame - is located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd., next to Hollywood and Highland, near the famed Grauman's Chinese Theatre. His son Shane and son-in-law Triple H spoke at the ceremony. Vince had to pay a $25,000 fee towards the Hollywood Historic Trust after being chosen. It's not like that sum of money will leave a large hole in his pocket anyway! In their update for the press, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce listed today's ceremony with the headline 'Smack down on the Boulevard'.
