Ashley Ann Vickers is an American television personality, sports announcer, and model. She is an emcee for NBA team the

Memphis Grizzlies and in 2010 became a ring announcer/co-host for the World Wrestling Entertainment program NXT under the

name Ashley Valence.

 

A native of Ft. Pierce, Florida and a former competitive rodeo rider, Vickers attended Lincoln Park Academy. Upon graduation, she

competed in Miss Florida USA and subsequently began modeling. She has worked for NASCAR and the NHRA. Vickers was

voteda semi-finalist in Maxim magazine's 2010 "Hometown Hotties" competition.

 

Ashley Ann's southern upbringing embodies rodeoing throughout the US and owning her very own herd of cattle. After competing

in the Miss Florida USA Pageant, Ashley established herself as a model and spokesperson with NASCAR, NHRA and

International Auto shows while completing a degree in communications from the University of Central Florida.

 

After graduation, Ashley began emceeing for the NBA Memphis Grizzlies in Tennessee, where she thrived working in front of the

camera alongside nearly ten thousand fans at each game. In 2010, Ashley Ann competed in Maxim's Hometown Hottie Contest

, where she made the Top Ten and hosted WWE:NXT on SyFy and WWE: Smackdown on USA (over 4 million viewers worldwide).

 

Ashley's fanbase rapidly escalated to over 10,000 fans and followers from twitter, facebook, and her own fan pages. With a large fan base to cater to, Ashley began producing monthly video blogs on her website and motivational newsletters for her subscribers which also offers diet and healthy eating tips.

 

In World Wrestling Entertainment (FCW) Ashley made her debut as a lumberjill for AJ Lee and Naomi Knight match for the FCW Divas Championship and the Queen of FCW.

 

On June 22, 2010, Vickers made her World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) debut, joining Matt Striker as the co-host of NXT. She has since been appearing as the Florida Championship Wrestling ring announcer. On November 25, 2010, Vickers made her television debut as a dual-branded ring announcer for WWE Superstars. Vickers was rarely seen after this and left WWE in December.

 

Valence Ashley resigned from WWE. The NXT model and presenter, said on their official website that the company quit WWE. Said: As many know, I ena amazing career in the past 6 months with WWE, but all good things must come to an end, and go in a different direction with my career at this time. I can not express how grateful I am with the experience and the friendships I made during my stay in WWE. "

 

Ashley made her transition to film when she worked on her first feature film A Fine Step staring Luke Perry and set to hit major theaters in October 2011. Most recently, Ashley Ann has moved from the Southeast to Los Angeles where she hopes to continue her passion for film and television acting.

 

As an award winning public speaker for the Future Business Leaders of America and Florida Cattlewomen's Association, Ashley has extensive motivational speaking experience and hopes to one day become a full time motivational speaker for college kids with her message of "If you can dream it, you can achieve it."
