A few years ago, I, James Walsh, had an interview scheduled with Doc. When it came time to do it, Doc could barely speak.
In fact, I ended up talking to his brother who informed me that Doc had throat cancer and was in a real bad way. I prayed for
Doc and completely understood why it didn't happen only wishing him to have a speedy recovery. Recover he did and he
has lived to tell about it!
In his new book, "How Dr. Death Became Dr. Life", Doc tells us how he beat cancer and found Jesus Christ.
