The wrestling fraternity of the North East are mourning the passing of a popular wrestler of forty years ago.

Eddie Fox passed away on Boxing Day.

He was a well known wrestler in the North, well liked by fans and colleagues alike, during the 1960s and 1970s.

He worked on the independent circuit mainly for promoters Don Robinson, Cyril Knowles, A&T, Les Prest and Dennis Lord.

Eddie was in his late sixties.
