Perry Saturn, one of the most dedicated men to work the wrestling business at this time, was the lateste guest on The Interactive Interview.

From working with a Mop, to wrestling in a dress, Perry Saturn had to endure some of the stupidest gimmicks and angles ever invented, but he still surpasses that and has managed to have some of the best matches ECW and WCW saw.

Now working with NWA-TNA, this extreme icon had a hell of a lot to say in one of his longest interviews yet.

PERRY SATURN

- Saturn says he grew up in the hood and that the Army gave him discipline. He feels the discipline provided gave him the right attitude for pro wrestling.

-- ECW was a fun place to work. He got in via phone calls to Paul Heyman.

-- He does not understand why the scaffold match is talked about so much. He said it was an honor working with Gordy and Williams but he doesn't feel it was a good match by any means.

-- His favorite ECW match was at November to Remember against Sabu and Van Dam.

-- He left ECW to go to WCW for money. WCW offered him and Raven jobs and they gladly accepted. He didn't get along with Kronus anymore so he felt it was time.

-- The politics in WCW at the early days were huge. He said it always was the same. They had the "top 10 guys" and nobody could get into that top 10.

-- The Flock was not used properly. He said they all became good friends as drinking buddies together. He said he doesn't understand why they used them to feed to other guys. He calls Kevin Sullivan and Terry Taylor lazy.

-- He didn't see the Goldberg character catching on like it did. He remembers working with him and says if WCW did one thing right, they made Goldberg.

-- He likes being a heel more than face. He loved the feud with Raven because at least they gave them a chance to matter.

-- The "dress" angle with Chris Jericho was done as a bit of a rib. They knew Chris was going to WCW and the stipulation was if Chris lost, he was off Nitro. Eric Bischoff wasn't at the arena at the show so they switched the finish. Bischoff made Saturn wear the dress as punishment but he didn't care because Chris stayed on TV for a little longer.

-- They went gothic with the gimmick but he says the southern crowd didn't get it.

-- The Revolution being something that would take over the company was "only in Shane [Douglas]'s mind." He says it was 4 guys that just wanted to get anything they could because nobody was getting a push so they figured to have fun with what they did have.

-- He talks about the Bash at the Beach incident with Hogan being handed the belt from Jeff Jarrett as a sign of the control wrestlers had.

-- He and Vince Russo didn't have the opportunity to really get to know each other. He talks about the battles Vince had to deal with in WCW like Kevin Sullivan and others.

-- Politics are why he and the Radicals left WCW. Kevin Sullivan told each of them that he didn't see any money in the guys at all and he wasn't going to use them. So, that made their choice easy.

-- Shane Douglas went in to the WCW office with the hope of keeping the Radicals group in WCW. But, they were leaving. He promised Bill Busch that he'd get them to stay but it didn't work.

-- The WWE locker room was "cool as hell" when he got there.

-- Terri Runnels was a pleasure to work with. He was more comfortable working with Terri after 2 days than with anyone else in his life.

-- Pat Patterson came up with "Moppy." He didn't enjoy the angle but he learned more doing that angle than anything else he had done in the business. He said "As stupid as that was, the fans loved it!" He says it's impossible to understand the people sometimes but he learned a lot. He said sometimes Moppy chants were louder than Rocky chants.

-- There will never be an Eliminators reunion. He says he doubts Kronus has seen the inside of a gym since the team split up.

-- He couldn't come to a money agreement with WWE. That's why he left.

-- The Mike Bell match was nothing like Bob Holly beating up the kid on Tough Enough. He got knocked a little goofy in the match and when he was woke up, he was swinging hard because he wasn't sure where he was. But once he realized what he was doing, he was fine. He said Vince McMahon became annoyed about Perry throwing Bell to the outside (which was a part of the match, not part of the anger).

-- He hopes the concept of TNA will work. He isn't sure if people can afford to every week but he says they are working hard. He says it reminds him of ECW because of the fans and the arena. He also says the group is working hard, just like ECW.

-- He feels the fans of Tennessee get the extreme style. He says people are starting to chant TNA just like they did ECW. He says a smaller arena allows the fans to interact more.

-- He enjoyed his match with Mike Barton. He says he watches tapes of all his matches and he picks apart a lot of what he does. He liked everything he saw in that match.

-- The WWE closed PerrySaturn.com. He talks about making a remark about a hotel he stayed at. They screwed with them, he put the manager's email address on the website and Linda McMahon wasn't too happy with him.

-- He talks about having his tattoos redone into two dragons.

-- His favorite match ever was Fall Brawl against Raven.

-- Finally, we do our famous word associations with names like Terri Runnels, Vince McMahon, Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Trinity, Raven, Vince Russo, and others!
