Tagteam championship, handicap match: The Giant def. Kevin Nash & Scott Hall (ch) 1

WCW championship: Hulk Hogan (ch) def. Rowdy Roddy Piper

1 Lex Luger was originally supposed to be The Giant's partner, but Eric Bischoff wouldn't let him wrestle due to a broken wrist. The Giant agreed to wrestle both Outsiders by himself, and would give one of the tag belts to Luger if he won. During the match, Luger came down to the ring and put Nash in the torture rack to gain a submission. In order to make sure that the win was legit, the Giant chokeslammed Hall and pinned him. Even with the legit win, Bischoff still stripped Luger and The Giant of the tag titles the following night on Nitro.
