Marion Fontaine Recruits Back-up
On the last episode of PWO TV, “Megastar” Marion Fontaine was the victim of the numbers game and an alliance only growing in power during his match with Josh Prohibition. Fontaine not only had to deal with Prohibition’s usual partner-in-crime, but also a new face a little easier on the eyes: the sultry Lexi Lane officially made her PWO debut, and made it impactful by aiding her new charge Prohibition to victory. However, now Fontaine and his oddball manager Macho Grosh have made a phone call to an acquaintance, and Fontaine has promised to appear on the next episode of PWO TV with back-up. Who has Fontaine recruited and will they be enough to stop the newfound alliance of Prohibition, Gargano, and Lexi Lane?
Johnny Gargano vs. Hobo Joe
It’s a clash in ring styles and a clash in lifestyles as the privileged elitist ego-driven Gargano goes one-on-one with the dirty, disgusting, disease-filled street dweller Hobo Joe. Gargano certainly outshines the homeless one in mat skill and intellect, but Hobo Joe has proven for years how tough he is just by surviving in the streets and braving the elements. Which style will win out? And will Marion Fontaine’s warning play a part on the psyche of Johnny Gargano?

“M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross made his presence known on the last broadcast of PWO TV, running off Johnny Gargano and attempting to thwart Gargano’s involvement in Josh Prohibition’s singles match. M-Dogg is still fuming over Prohibiton & Gargano ruining M-Dogg’s match with “Fabulous” John McChesney and using a steel chain to defeat Cross & McChesney in a subsequent tag match. The extremely bizarre tandem of Matthew Justice and Charles “White Socks” Johnson proved to be an unexpected success when they downed the established team of The Clash, Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender, in their debut match together. Now, The Clash, embarrassed that they were defeated with the help of, of all things, a tube sock, have demanded a rematch and have guaranteed that the unorthodox offense and nature of “White Socks” Johnson will NOT be a factor this time around.

It’s the in-ring debut of the woman who made a huge impact in her debut, aligning herself with the most diabolical tandem in PWO today, Josh Prohibition & Johnny Gargano. Will Lane’s first official in-ring action be as successful as her shocking appearance a week ago?
Gregory Iron’s Emotional Revelation
On the last episode of PWO TV, play-by-play commentator Joe Dombrowski conducted a very heartfelt and personal interview with PWO’s most inspirational athlete, Gregory Iron. The Ratings: Last Two Weeks of 2007
----Memphis Wrestling finishes the year with two horrible ratings. The 12.22.07 show finished overall with a 1.9 [31,563 viewers] and this past Saturday’s show did a very disappointing 1.7 [28,541 viewers] for their second annual “Best of” show. Last year’s rating of the last two shows was an average of 3.8 [63,089 viewers], which was double of this year.
----The 12.23.07 show opened at a 1.5, then climbed 11,000 viewers up to the third quarter. They then drop over 7,000 viewers in the last quarter. Nothing really can be said good about this show. The “What Was Memphis Watching” number [highest rated program in the wrestling time slot] was only 11% less than last week, but as an average this Memphis show drew 41% less than average.

----The 12.29.07 show that aired this past weekend was their second annual “Best of” show and it bombed. I think it had to do with the horrible show that aired last year. This show opened with a 2.1 rating, but continue to lose over 14,000 viewers until the last quarter where they grabbed 6,000 back. This show was the second lowest rated show of the year only following the 5.05.07 show, which scored only 1,679 less viewers than this show. The “What Was Memphis Watching” number [highest rated program in the wrestling time slot] was up 21% from last week, so it should mean that Memphis Wrestling would be up; right?? This show was actually 44% below average.

Weekend preview for the Michigan independent scene
After a holiday weekend with no events, there are three events scheduled for this weekend in the Michigan independent scene, including the newly-crowned 2007 MIWC Promotion of the Year, Price of Glory Wrestling, holding their first event of 2008, as well as action in Grand Rapids and Dansville. Here is a preview of the action.
Saturday:
*The West Michigan Wrestling Alliance returns to the Home for Veterans in Grand Rapids. Belltime is 2pm and admission is $5 for all non-residents. New WMRA Tag Team Champions will be crowned in a three-way involving The Canadian Hit Squad, Tweak & Kra-Z and Scott EZ & Sabbath; A new WMRA Television Champion will also be crowned in a Gauntlet Match involving a member of the Canadian Hit Squad, Chuck Weeden, Ricky Fontaine, Johnny Lawless and Adam Renolds; Pure Pro Wrestling Tag Team and Singles Exhibition Matches; Jeff King versus Mikey Zeroe; Hardcore Harry and more.
*Power Zone Wrestling presents "New Year's Havoc" at Dansville High School in the promotion's debut in Dansville. Belltime is 7pm and tickets will be available at the door for $10. A list of talent for the show has been not be released.

Force One Pro Wrestling presents its next event, called "Badge of Honor" on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at Hamilton Hall on Philadelphia Avenue in Egg Harbor City, NJ. Doors open at 7 pm, with a 7:30 pm bell time. Here's a quick rundown of the card.
Force One Heavyweight champion "Bad Boy" Danny Pagan defends his heavyweight championship belt against the number one challenger, Patch, along with his manager JADEN.
Junior Heavyweight champion Diego DiMarco along with his manager Millionaire Ted Jr. finds himself in a rematch for the belt against indy superstar Judas Young. (As seen on Monday Night Raw)
A 15 minute time limit draw was reached with no winner at the last show "Full Force", so Commissioner Tommy Cairo has ordered a rematch between "Hot Shot" Mike Reed, and "The Midnight Idol" Nicky Benz. The match will not end until a winner is announced.
Latin star Panther takes on "The Sure Thing" Ryan Wing.
In a USA vs. Canada match, former Force One Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Champion The White Lotus takes on "The Canadian Shooter" Tommy Force with manager JADEN
The Force One fans were shocked at the last show when teammates Ryu Lee & Razor Rivera lost to High Impact, due to interference from Millionaire Ted Jr. They were more stunned when Razor Rivera turned on his partner & attacked him, leaving him brutally beaten in the ring. Ryu has demanded a match against his former tag partner, which has been granted by Cairo. Cairo, however, has stipulated a tag team match, which has resulted in a 6 man tag match. Rivera has chosen his former opponents "High Impact" to join him in the match. As of the date of this notice, Ryu Lee had yet to find a tag team, and may have to face the three men alone.
The 4 way between Force One Superstars that was scheduled to take place that evening to decide who is next in line to challenge for the Heavyweight Championship has changed, with the departure of The Equalizer. Commissioner Tommy Cairo has sanctioned a match between ECW Original The Rockin' Rebel and former ECW/WWE/TNA star Danny Doring, who is making his debut in Force One, to decide who is the number one contender.
Also appearing that evening: "The Hybrid" Josh Adams, The Lovely Jennifer Lynn, Manager "The Ultimate Studd" Jimmy Clydesdale, The Osirian Portal, referees Mike Walker and Just Johnny, Commissioner Tommy Cairo, ring announcer Phil Varlese, and the staff of Force One. *Ladies and gentlemen the time is drawing near and the offices of in Your Face Wrestling has announced a colossal Tag Team Main Event on 1/12. It will be the 350 pound “Inhuman Monstrosity” Superbeast teaming together with Austrian Strongman Fronz Roddy (accompanied by his “favorite” second-cousin” Hanz) as they will clash with the team of Drake Evans and his partner the 375 lbs “Force From the North” VIGO with the beautiful Yvonna in their corner. With the big men Superbeast and VIGO eagerly looking for a chance to get a piece of each other inside the squared circle along with the Evans-Roddy hatred stemming off from the International Combat Match on 11/24, both the wrestlers and fans alike of IYFW will be definitely watching this match as it will be nothing but action!
*A match-up had been originally signed for the King of the Vermont Indies, “Bad Religion” Maxx Burton meeting “The Modern Day Marquis” Guillaume DeSade. Unfortunately, Maxx has had a recurring knee injury and has not been cleared by a doctor to compete on the 12th. However, Maxx has assured the office of IYFW that he has found a suitable replacement in the match against DeSade. And suitable he his: one of the top young wrestlers in the New England area and a former Heavyweight Champion for Defiant Pro Wrestling based out of Connecticut, “The Human Horror Movie” Nocturne!
Nocturne would make a huge impact in IYFW if he would were to defeat DeSade in his debut outing for the promotion, but DeSade claims he will putting the same hurting on him that he had originally planned for Burton. This one could get ugly.
*At our first event Let the Madness begin on 11/24/07, we saw the veteran Vermont tag team of Divine Diversity (The Bull & The Northern Studd) cheat their way to victory over the favorite retro flashbacks James Reed & Vince Beach, Those 80’s Guys, thanks to the beautiful yet cunning Lindsey Lynn. However, a rematch between these two teams has been made for 1/12 and we have been told Reed & Beach have enlisted the services of an “insurance policy” to accompany them to ringside. Who is this insurance policy? No one can say for sure he or she will definitely make sure that Lynn will not be involved in the match: or suffer the consequences.
*Also signed for this big event, a six-man tag team match featuring popular Vermont favorite “Bombshell” Bert Williams teaming with rookie sensations “Loverboy” Ricky Williams and C.J. Scott going toe-to-toe with the head of Scarsdale Enterprises, “The Millennium Millionaire” Scott Scarsdale along with his teammates, one of the top tag teams in the Northeast today, Steve Kruz & Steve McKenzie, The Killer Steves. Williams and Scarsdale were both involved in the 6-man elimination tag main event. Scarsdale is looking to make-up for his teams loss back in November and with the Steves might have that edge to take the win.
*As shown at Let the Madness Begin, IYFW has shown its strong relationships is has with other promotions, such as Northern Vermont-based Slam All-Star Wrestling and England’s One Pro Wrestling. Well, January 12th will be no different in bringing in the best in talent from all over the world. Appearing that night will be the newest sensation not only in independent organizations across the country but also has become a huge hit for the Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX promotion in Japan…the electrifying ShockWave the Robot! If you have never seen ShockWave compete in the ring, once you do you will be shocked (no pun intended)!
*The show will also feature the IYFW debut of two of the top wrestlers in the Western part of New York, Troy Buchanan and J.C. Money. Both men have entertained audiences for years out in WNY and are looking forward to show the Rutland audience what they are all about.

WESNA BUSIC - Height: 5'10" Weight: 143 lbs. Hometown: Zagreb, Croatia. Pro Debut: 1998. "The Croatian Panther" has become one of the most respected and feared female fighters in Europe, with her explosive repertoire of lethal kicks and signature CB4 Driver finisher. Much of Wesna's European notoriety has come from her battles in German promotions GWF and GSW, EWA in Austria, British organizations RQW and ChickFight, and NWE in Italy. Wesna briefly appeared in the United States in 2005 for Afa the Wild Samoan's WXW, where she battled Mercedes Martinez in a match fans still talk about today. In 2006, Wesna debuted for ZERO-1 MAX in Japan, and began to appear on Pro Wrestling SUN events. On April 26th, Wesna returns to the United States to enter SHIMMER competition.
