Smackdown’s viewers and rating were down a notch from the previous week. Last night’s episode brought in 2.229 million viewers and a 0.61 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, down 3% each from last week’s 2.294 million and 0.61. The numbers, while down, are still the second-best since the end of August, where the August 20th episode did 2.434 million viewers and the August 27th episode had a 0.65 demo rating.

Smackdown ranked #6 among cable originals for the night with Thursday Night Football on the NFL Network leading the way (6.640 million viewers, 2.20 demo rating, both down from last week). The show was also beat by two NBA game on TNT and the Thursday Night Football pre- and post-game shows.
