According to Deadline, former TNA Knockouts Champion Awesome Kong (real name Kia Stevens) has joined the cast of Netflix’s GLOW. The series, which is slated for a 10-episode first season, is based 80s female wrestling league, The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.

The series will star Allison Brie, Marc Maron, Britt Baron, Jackie Tohn, Kimmy Gatewood, Rebekka Johnson, Kate Nash and Sunita Mani. Chavo Guerrero will work on the series as a wrestling trainer/coordinator.
