According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE went to great lengths to hide Kane’s return on Monday’s Raw. They didn’t let talent know, he didn’t fly him into Portland, but flew into a different airport, and was driven to Portland and hid the entire time. Kane had been out of action since the first week of December 2016; resting up his various nagging injuries, working at his Allstate insurance business in Knoxville and running for Mayor of Knox County.
