It appears plans are back on for ITV’s revival of World of Sport Wrestling. PWInsider reports that World of Sport has scheduled five sets of tapings starting later next month. It appears the return of World of Sport is back on after a previous series idea was recently shelved.

Fans will be able to request free tickets to the event at Lost in TV.com. The tapings for the events will be held on the following dates in the city of Norwich, England:

* Thursday, May 10 at 6:30 pm
* Friday, May 11 at 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm
* Saturday, May 12 at 6:30 pm

Previously, ITV ordered a pilot for a World of Sport TV special that aired on New Year’s Eve 2016. The event featured such stars as Grado, Viper, Dave Mastiff, Mark and Joe Coffey, Kenny Williams, El Ligero, and Zack Gibson among others. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross provided commentary for the event and also worked as a producer. Later in March of 2017, there was an announcement that ITV planned on reviving World of Sport for a 10-episode season, and Tom McLennan and Simon March would serve as executive producers.

The initial plans were then canceled with the idea that project would be postponed. Talents were of the mind that the idea for the series project was dead. There aren’t any details as of yet on what talents will be working the upcoming TV tapings.
