WWE announced today that they have released Big Cass. His last appearance was losing to Daniel Bryan on Sunday…

“WWE has come to terms on the release of William Morrissey (Big Cass).”

While no details on the reasons for WWE’s release of Big Cass are available yet, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer reports that the release was done today.

According to the site, McMahon called a meeting at today’s Smackdown tapings and fired Cass.
