NJPW1972.com revealed that earlier this week, New Japan Pro Wrestling President Takaaki Kidani unveiled the companies plans for events in Japan and the US through 2018. The company is currently projecting sales in the range of 4.5 billion yen (about $45 million) in 2018. NJPW is also looking to boost the company’s profile through a “Live, Digital, and Global Strategy.”

Kidani also voiced the company’s strategy to gain a full house at the Tokyo Dome by the year 2020. He stated, “We want 40-45,000 tickets sold. A sold number of over 40,000 is something we can call a full house.” Kidani also added that live houses for NJPW in venues across Japan have improved due to increased media exposure and active promotion.

NJPW will also be streaming a live US press conference later today at 7PM EST. You can watch the full press conference HERE.
