WWE RAW Rating Takes Hit from Monday Night Football's Return

The rating for this week’s Raw predictably dropped as Monday Night Football returned to the air. Monday’s episode brought in a 0.89 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.740 million viewers. Those numbers are down 8% and 4% respectively from last week’s 0.97 demo rating and 2.873 million viewers. The metrics repped the lowest for the show since the July 9th episode had a 0.78 demo rating and 2.470 million viewers.

Raw ranked #5 among cable originals last night per Showbuzz Daily. The NFL doubleheader took the top two spots, with the New York Jets/Detroit Lions leading the way (3.78 demo rating/10.336 million) followed by the Rams/Raiders game (3.68/9.607 million). Third place went to VH-1’s Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood (1.02/2.016 million) and the MNF kickoff game was at #4 (0.95/2.638 million). Raw’s hourly ratings were:

8 PM: 0.88 demo rating (2.818 million)
9 PM: 0.91 demo rating (2.801 million)
10 PM: 0.89 demo rating (2.601 million)
