A recent report on potential talent possible for AEW suggests that some familiar faces could be heading to the upstart company owned by the owners of the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars and operated by Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and the rest of the ELITE.

While the obvious names on board include the before mentioned Cody, Young Bucks, as well as Brandi Rhodes, Adam "Hangman" Page, possibly Chris Jericho, some unexpected names have popped up.

Those names include former WCW and WWE Champion Bill Goldberg, Jim Ross, Kenny Omega, Tye Dillinger, Zack Ryder, Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky, and Christopher Daniels.

Tu unpack some of that, Kazarian and Scorpio Sky have not appeared for ROH since losing the tag titles at Final Battle and it is believed Daniels will depart as well as he was written off TV due to losing at Final Battle as well adnd was taken out by Shane Taylor. It is possible that Daniels could stay with ROH as he is rumored to work the January and February TV tapings. But, it seems unlikely that he will be there throughout 2019.

Goldberg is rumored because his talent agent, the same as Jim Ross', is involved in the promotion.

Kenny Omega is rumored because he is a part of the ELITE, formerly the Bulet Club, and was a huge part of All In. However, WWE is throwing stupid money, a technical term, at Omega to sign. So, it will be his decision.

The WWE names, Tye Dillinger and Zack Ryder, have often been rumored to be unhappy with their lack of push from the WWE. While there is nothing to say that these two would walk away from WWE deals once their contracts are up, many believe they are possible "gets" for the new promotion. Some also say Dolph Ziggler is in play when his deal is up for much the same reason.

Regardless, this could be a fun time to be a wrestling fan as things fan out and shape up a bit.
