Today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio had an update on this week’s WWE Super ShowDown 2020 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. According to Bryan Alvarez on today’s show, The Undertaker is going to Saudi Arabia to appear at Super ShowDown. Alvarez and Dave Meltzer “presumed” that Undertaker is going to the event to start an angle with AJ Styles for their rumored match at WrestleMania 36.

Styles is currently scheduled for the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet Match on the Super ShowDown card along with R-Truth, Rey Mysterio (who is replacing Rusev), Bobby Lashley, Erick Rowan, and Andrade. The Undertaker is not officially booked to appear at the event.

Additionally, POST Wrestling released a report today stating that The Undertaker is scheduled to appear at Super ShowDown. Undertaker was reportedly seen in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada where last night’s Raw was held. WWE staff are said to have left on a charter flight from the city last night following Raw.

The POST Wrestling report also indicates that The Undertaker is likely heading to Saudi Arabia to start a feud with AJ Styles to culminate in a match for WrestleMania 36. The WWE mega event is scheduled for April 5 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

As reported earlier today, PWInsider stated that The Undertaker is “confirmed” to appear on the March 9 edition of Raw in Washington, DC, where he’s also expected to build to his planned WrestleMania 36 match.

The Undertaker worked his last WWE match in July 2019 at Extreme Rules. He teamed up with Roman Reigns in a tag team match to beat Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. Previously, he appeared at WWE Crown Jewel 2019 in the previous month, where he beat WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg in a one-on-one match. The event was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

WWE Super ShowDown 2020 is scheduled for February 27. The event will be held at the Mohammed Abdu Arena on the Boulevard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will be broadcast live on the WWE Network.
