– It looks like a major scheduled title match for tonight’s edition of WWE NXT TV might no longer be happening. According to a report by Fightful Select, the previously scheduled NXT Women’s Championship match with Raquel Gonzalez against Franky Monet is no longer taking place tonight.

No reason was given for why the title match was taken off the card. However, the change was reportedly known as early as Monday (Sept. 13) morning. It’s also unknown if Gonzalez and Monet will still appear on tonight’s USA Network broadcast.

Additionally, Fightful noted that talent had been arriving to the venue as early as 11:15 am. As previously reported, the call time was moved up for today’s show, since it’s the first live WWE NXT broadcast in several weeks. Also, roster members are said to be feeling “trepidation” and unsure about what they will be walking into for tonight’s rebranding.

Tonight’s show is still scheduled to crown a new NXT World champion with the Fatal 4-Way match, along with featuring the wedding of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis. Kyle O’Reilly, LA Knight, Pete Dunne, and Tommaso Ciampa will compete in the Fatal 4-Way match for the vacant title after Samoa Joe was forced to relinquish the belt due to injury.
