WWE and WCW legend Lex Luger recently sat down with Sports Illustrated for an in-depth conversation about all things pro-wrestling, including his thoughts on the passing of Scott Hall, and how he feels about Stingís current run in AEW. Highlights from the interview can be found below.

His memories of Scott Hall:

Scott was a great talent in the ring. We hung out quite a bit outside the ring and traveled together. We had a lot of great times together. We also shared a lot of similar struggles. It was inspiring to see Scott when he emerged from that. I have nothing but love for Scott. Itís a tremendous loss. I have nothing but love for Scott and his family.

On Stingís AEW run:

I love it. I canít believe heís doing what heís doing, but I love watching. We just saw each other. I always want the best for him.

How his health is holding up:

Itís mind-boggling. Iím in phenomenal health. Other than my mobility issues from my spinal cord issue, Iím very healthy, and thatís a miracle of God after what I put my body through. I usually use a wheelchair or a walker, but I can walk some. I have great mobility; I drive. But you know how your power will go out for a moment during a storm? That can happen to me, and Iím on the floor before I know it. So I take a lot of precautions. I live totally independently, which wasnít supposed to happen. I donít look the same because I donít hit the weights like I used to, but Iím healthy.
