Jessie Belle Smothers, WOW - Women of Wrestling's Jessie Jones, Battling Breast Cancer

Sad news to report as WOW - Women of Wrestling superhero Jessie Jones, perhaps just as well known as Jessie Belle Smothers, has confirmed she is battling breast cancer.

Jessie, a veteran of prow restling for close to 2 decades, played the role of the daughter of late great Tracy Smothers, the "Wild Eyed Southern Boy." In recent years, she's been the workhorse of WOW - Women of Wrestling as the Southern gal seeking to Make Wrestling Great Again, Jessie Belle.

Though we could not figure out how to embed the post, here is what Jessie had to post about her battle.

Ironic ive always supported & donated to breast cancer. Turned out my family carries a gene that made me much more likely to have breast cancer. I I just had my Surgery and I ask all my friends and fans to send prayers my way. I still have a long journey ahead with Chemo and Radiation. #f***Cancer

We wish her nothing but the best.
