As seen during the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE, John Cena officially turned heel against Cody Rhodes and “sold his soul” to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Bill Apter of Sportskeeda.com’s WrestleBinge podcast asked Cody’s mother about the turn and here was what she had to say…

“I was just shocked. Completely shocked. I would have never, never thought that was going to happen. I mean, he was a friend of Cody’s, and, of course, Dusty knew him, but I wouldn’t call him a family friend.”

Here was her response when asked if she had anything to say to Cena…

“I would say, ‘John, you should be ashamed of yourself. You had a beautiful career. Everybody loved you and now you’re just an a*******.’”
