As seen during the April 9th 2025 edition of AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland defeated Pac in a singles match. At one point, Pac appeared to be hurt and was checked out by the ringside doctor. The match immediately went to the finish and Pac did not appear in Dynamite’s final segment with The Death Riders.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com provided the following update on Pac’s condition…

“Pac was seen leaving last night’s AEW Dynamite taping on crutches. The belief among talents we’ve spoken with is that the injury is ankle-based but no word yet on how severe.”
