For those curious, the answer is yes. That was our Superstar Billy Graham interview featured heavily on tonight's Dark Side of the Ring episode. We were asked by the company if they could use clips and I could not have been happier to accept. I am so proud to have been included and to have provided something for an episode that is so special for so many people - Honoring one of the greatest champions of all time.
The interview, which airs several times as it says "Voice of Billy Graham" throughout the episode, was conducted in 2006 when I was on Arizona State University AM radio. Billy came on to talk about his book and we got into a pretty good groove and he gave us some real gems. I'm glad they proved helpful not just for us to get a great interview but for this project some 19 years later.
Seeing my site's name on a national TV broadcast is huge. I'm so excited and grateful!
I will say, I thought the clip the guys would use would be the more bitter quotes where Graham said some bad thigns about Bruno Sammartino. I was pleasantly surprised that was not the angle taken.
Anyway, this was a pretty awesome sight to see. See below.
