Ever since Penta and Rey Fenix (known as The Lucha Bros) signed with WWE, there has been internet speculation about the team potentially reuniting as a tag team. During WrestleVotes Radio, the following was said in regards to the matter…

“Sources indicate there are plans in the very near future to align Rey Fenix and Penta on the same roster and to present them as a team, the Lucha brothers. We are told, the idea behind debuting Rey Fenix on SmackDown pre-WrestleMania was done to keep Penta’s momentum on RAW uninterrupted during his Intercontinental Championship feud.”
