Real American Beer Removes Hulk Hogan Branding

Hulk Hogan was one of pro wrestling's biggest names. "The Hulkster" was the key star during the WWE, then WWF's, push to national and international expansion. Phil Donahue, on his daytime talk show, compared Hulk Hogan's merchandise sales to that of Disney's Mickey Mouse. Nobody argued the comparison.

In the final years of his life, Hulk Hogan took up a few different passion projects. One was politics endorsing Donald Trump in 2024 which many believe helped Trump secure the vote of the quote unquote "masculine white male." The other projects was the "Real American" brand.

"Real American" launched with the Real American Beer being at the epicenter of Hulk's focus. At almost all TV appearances and signings, Hulk would wear a "Real American Beer" T shirt. He even did so on his final WWE appearance at RAW in early 2025. Hulk also launched Real American Freestyle Wrestling under the Real American flag and there was a lot of talk about the Real American brand acquiring the Hooters restaurants as well. Sadly, Hulk passed away in July of 2025.

Well, Real American Beer has moved forward and it looks like they are leaving the legendary Hulkster's contributions by the wayside. Despite booming sales, Real American Beer has removed Hulk Hogan from its branding. The company’s official announcement said, “Hulk set the tone. This next chapter carries it forward.” Do you think this will impact their sales?
