After seeing a request for positive vibes by original glow wrestler "Hollywood" Jeanne Basone for Fred Ottman, the real name of Tugboat, Typhoon, and the Shockmaster, we decided to research what was going on. Here is what we found out.
WWE Hall of Famer Fred Ottman, known as Tugboat and Typhoon, has been hospitalized for 30 days following a near-fatal ruptured gallbladder and severe infections. The 69-year-old, who underwent emergency treatment for the burst organ and subsequent blood infections, is now recovering, learning to walk again, and anticipated a release around February 9, 2026.
Key Details of Fred Ottman's Hospitalization:
Condition: Ottman suffered a ruptured (exploded) gallbladder that released toxins into his system.
