- During an interview with TMZ, the former WWE star Candice Michelle confessed that she feels that there is a bit of femininity missing in wrestling:
"I think what we're missing is a little more femininity. What I mean by that is that we have insisted a lot that women are equal to men. We have same time, same pay. There's just something to it. But at the end of the day, I want men to be a little more masculine. I want them to be so masculine that I can connect a little with my femininity. Some people see it as sexiness. I would never. I mean, wrestling has never shied away from sexuality. If you watch WWE today or before, or TNA today or before, almost every woman is hot. But I think there's a difference in how a woman moves. We don't have to do it like a man does.
We recently had a mixed couples match on TNA. I loved it because the men were very masculine and the women, amazing. Men lifted women up and made them fly even higher. Then the man tried to save the woman, but he couldn't, and I thought, "Wow, this is like life!" ". I loved it. But the way TNA presented it was that women are powerful and I want our men to be too. I don't want them to say, "We're just as powerful." It's more like: "No, we need both energies to make it beautiful."
