WWE HOFer Jim Ross has revealed that he is preparing to undergo brain surgery following a nearly 40-day hospital stay🙏🚨
Ross shared the news during the first episode of Grilling JR since returning home, explaining that he will undergo a procedure to place a shunt in order to drain fluid from his brain.
The legendary announcer revealed that he had been struggling with memory issues before passing out inside his home, which ultimately led to his extended hospitalization.
“This is a whole new ball game, and it’s a little scary, to be honest with you,” Ross admitted, while making it clear the surgery is necessary if he wants to improve.
Even during such a frightening time, JR still managed to show his trademark humor, joking that doctors may not “find much” when they operate on his brain.
The procedure is expected to take place within the next week, with Ross likely spending around two days in the hospital afterward.
