Eric Bischoff Wanted to FIRE Sting from TNA Over a "Family Emergency"

Vince Russo, in his book Total Nonstop Agony: The Rise and Fall of TNA, Vince Russo claimed that Eric Bischoff once wanted Sting released from TNA after Sting missed a TV taping because of a family emergency.
According to Russo, Dixie Carter refused, believing Sting had a valid reason for being absent. Russo also said the incident permanently changed his opinion of Bischoff
