CW/WWF/WCW veteran 2 Cold Scorpio (age 60) reached a plea agreement on the day his trial was set to start, avoiding a jury trial in Kansas City, Missouri. Scorpio pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and armed criminal action, taking lesser charges after originally facing first-degree assault. The judge scheduled his official sentencing for October 9 at 3:00 PM local time.
The charges stem from a June 2024 late-night fight at a Love's Travel Stop, where Scorpio was working as a security guard. A argument broke out after Scorpio told a customer to put out a lit cigarette inside the store. The fight moved outside, where Scorpio st@ bbed the man several times with a pocket kn!fe, claiming he acted in self-defense. Police found the victim bleeding on the ground before taking him to the hospital, where he later told investigators that Scorpio was the aggressor.
After multiple trial delays over the past two years, including time needed to track down a witness who recorded video of the fight, Scorpio opted to settle the case
