Chris Jericho says AEW has “never worried about WWE, ever” and has always focused on the quality and success of its own programming.
According to Jericho, AEW has “only worried about our own show, our own product” and “the quality of what we’re doing,” rather than comparing itself to WWE.
He also dismissed the idea that AEW’s momentum is merely a “perceived upswing,” arguing that the company’s progress is supported by measurable results. “You can see in the numbers,” Jericho said, pointing specifically to “tickets sold” and “the ratings.”
