WRESTLINGEPICENTER.COM: The History of TII!

THE HISTORY OF THE INTERACTIVE INTERVIEW:

Show: The Interactive Interview
Longevity: 2003 - Current
Current Hosts: Patrick Kelley (2007 -) & James Walsh (2003 -)
Former Hosts: Daniel Edler (2003 - 2005), Erik Clancy (2005), Chuck D (2005)

The Interactive Interview came to be in February of 2003 after James Walsh and Daniel Edler paired up to do a wrestling talk show. The name came from the idea that was to split the show from all the other shows that were available on the scene of the time of the show's inception; Give the audience the opportunity to post their questions for the guests that would be interviewed. Instead of it just being an interview, it was an "interactive" interview because questions could have come from anyone from anywhere provided they posted them on the forum.

In January of 2005, James Walsh and Daniel Edler split as Daniel had other interests and was no longer devoted to the show. James carried on the name on a brand new web site (wrestlingepicenter.com) and continued doing the show with then friend Erik Clancy. The show continued on without a hitch and continued the reputation the show had built.

In March of 2005, The Interactive Interview went live on Arizona State University's campus station "The Blaze" 1260 AM. James teamed up with Chuck D to bring a weekly live broadcast to the station. The name would later be changed to Wrestling Epicenter on the station.

In June of 2005, The Interactive Interview went on hiatus with James devoting his time to the live broadcast and Erik Clancy forming his own show on the site known as the Weekend Warriors of Wrestling along side Patrick Kelley.

In October of 2007, The Interactive Interview was revived by James Walsh as he returned to regular broadcasts for the first time since leaving "The Blaze" 1260 AM in July of 2006. Patrick Kelley joined James Walsh as his new CO-host while Nick "Griffin" Noel provided guest analysis.
