While speaking on her podcast with sister Brie, Nikki Bella addressed criticism of her dating life following her divorce from Artem Chingvintsev…
“You guys know how I talk — I’m very sarcastic. This has literally made some men on Twitter angry. Oh wait, let me tell you specifically who’s angry — a very specific audience on X. I made a comment like, ‘Yeah, I don’t want…’ It was a dating question or something, and I said, ‘Yeah, I don’t want to introduce anyone to Matteo for years and years and years.’ I said it just like that. And now they’re going at me, calling me major red flags. ‘This girl has so many issues.’ So as a woman, if you introduce a bunch of men — or even just some men — to your kid, you’re bad. But I’m now a woman with red flags because I’m choosing not to introduce someone to my kid.
Here’s the truth — if I fall in love with someone and it’s an incredible connection, and I know in my heart I want to spend the rest of my life with this person, I know that God will give me the feeling when it’s time for that person to meet my son. That could be a year. That could be two years. That’s a timeline I don’t know, because it’s in God’s hands. And I don’t care what people say. I’ll always make that remark of ‘years and years and years,’ because no one knows my son better than me, his dad, his auntie, and all the people close to him.”
