As seen during the September 27th 2025 edition of AEW Collision, an angle took place where TNT champion Kyle Fletcher attacked Hologram in the backstage area. After the segment, AEW President Tony Khan wrote the following message via Twitter/X…

“Get well soon, Hologram! After an unprovoked attack backstage at AEW Collision tonight by TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher, Hologram has significant injuries. We’re all cheering for Hologram + wishing him the best in his recovery. Sadly, Hologram likely is out the rest of 2025.”

In regards to why Hologram was written off AEW television, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following…

“Hologram suffered a knee injury on Wednesday at the show in Pittsburgh. It was to the same knee that kept him out of action. When examined, it was worse than he expected and he will be out of the rest of the year.”

Fletcher was originally scheduled to face Hologram in a title vs. undefeated streak match. Fletcher will now be having a match against Orange Cassidy instead.
