WWE Revokes the Media Credentials of ESPN Writer That Gave WrestlePalooza a "C" Rating

Following the 2025 WWE Wrestlepalooza PLE, ESPN combat sports reporter Andreas Hale gave the show a “C” letter grade. In March of 2026, it was noted by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com that ESPN decided to drop WWE letter grades from reviews.

Ahead of WWE WrestleMania 42, Hale stated the following via Twitter/X…

“I will not be covering #WrestleMania for ESPN. WWE denied my credentials and blocked my access. Neither I nor ESPN has been told why. You can speculate on the reasons, but if you want answers, ask WWE. Let me know what they tell you.”

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com commented on the matter…

“After congratulating espn for the last story Andreas wrote this is very concerning. Andreas is fair and knowledgeable and this is a bad sign.”
