Sad news to report today as a WCW mainstay has died.

Van Hammer, who wrestled in WCW in 1991 as "Heavy Metal" Van Hammer playing the guitar on the way to the ring and doing a Van Halen inspired gimmick, has died. Hammer would later become part of Raven's Flock and the Misfits in Action.

Hammer has had some legal issues of late. But, no one was expecting his passing.
